CSK and RR both the teams have one loss and one win from their respective two matches. Chennai won their last game on the back of brilliant bowling performance from their bowlers specially Deepak Chahar who just bamboozled the PBKS batsmen in the power play with his movement. And then they chaand down the modest total of 107 easily. But they have some areas to improve upon such as opening, Gaikwad hasn’t raisen up to the standard and hasn’t provided the start that a team needs even though they have played on the better durga es compare to the Chennai one. So either they have to get him to score runs or replace him with someone. The biggest positive is Moeen who has been batting beauty fully and has given them that momentum that they packed last year. Sam Curran Jadeja and Bravo has also been good to their respect ice roles.
RR also won their last game against against DC, which was a tricky chase as they lost wickets in heap in the powerplay but David Miller played a gem of a inning to steer them close to the target but when the target looked achievable he got out. At the time the game looked gone with 30 odd runs still to get and only 3 wickets remaining, huffff it looked like RR will have two losses out of two matches but Chris Morris turned it around with some brilliant hitting. RR also have to play sensibly as they have lost the services of Ben Stokes for this year but still there is a tournament to.play. They too have problems at the top their openers haven’t given the starts that is supposed to be ideal but with Buttler at the top that problem seems to be sorted out.
