With a new captain Delhi Capitals would want to start their campaign on a positive note and set the tone right but the same can be said about CSK ofcourse not the new captain thing specially after the ‘Definetly Not’ remark. But CSK have a lot of question that they need answers to specially in the batting department and Dhoni’s batting form but they have got back the boost this season in form of Suresh Raina who has been a prolific performer for CSK over the years if he manages to get go then CSK might start to look like their old selves.
Whereas the playing XI is concerned DC’s playing XI looks almost sorted as Rishabh Pant is himself in a blistering form so are his fast bowlers but CSK have some choices to make tp find their best combination early in the tournament. For CSK the biggest boost will be Shardul Thakur’s wicket taking form which will ne crucial for them going into the tournament specially since last year their pacers struggled to pick wickets upfront and at the backend of a inning.
DC’s probable XI: Prithvi Shaw,Shikhar Dhawan,Ajinkya Rahane,Rishabh Pant,Shimron Hetmyr,Marcus Stoinis,Axar Patel,Ravi Ashwin,Anrich Nortje,Kagiso Rabada,Ishant Sharma
CSK’s probable XI: Rituraj Gaikwad,Faf du Plessis,Suresh Raina,Ambati Rayudu,MS Dhoni,Ravindra Jadeja,Dwayne Bravo, Sam Curran, Karn Sharma,Deepak Chahar,Shardul Thakur
