DC are coming with a loss that could be a bitter pill to swallow. They are placed third on the points table with 4 wins and 2 losses. Their international players haven’t yet fired on all cylinders ,the likes of Kagiso Rabada,Marcus Stoinis and Steve Smith haven’t yet performed nearing their potential and that is something coach Ricky Pointing talked about. Avesh Khan has been a star this season with his economical yet wicket taking spells. Amiron Hetmyr showed what he can do if he gets enough balls and enough backing behind him, and if they can include the raw pace of Anrich Nortje to their bowling lineup, uff! that lineup looks fierce. Rishabh Pant though have a thing or two to address with his captainship and I am sure the management will be looking into it.
KKR just managed to turn their fortune around when they won their last game after four successive losses. Their pacers just found the lost path through what they did so well last year. But still their opening combination and their form is a bit of headache for them as both of them haven’t been able to get KKR starts on slightly suitable condition considering the Chepauk conditions. Specially a lot of eyes will be on Shubman Gill just because he hasn’t delivered as his potential promises. But inspite all that Eoin Morgan iss captain who would like to stick to both of them just a bit longer. The spin duo of Chakravarthy and Narine has done a tremendous job for them and if their pacers can keep up just like the last game then they can rattle any opposition.
