It’s the game between number 2 and number 3 on the points table i.e. Delhi Capitals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both DC and RCB have some players opting out of the IPL 2021 but RCB wouldn’t worry too much as both the Australians were not in their playing XI but DC have lost a big player in Ravi Ashwin and DC will surely miss him. But still tournament goes on whoever in available.
RCB is coming with a defeat against arch rivals CSK and DC with a super over win against SRH. DC will be high on confidence specially after a super over win. The inclusion of Axar Patel boost their game on another level because he is an asset especially on slightly sticky and slow surfaces. There is a talk in th town that DC should include Anrich Nortje in the playing XI but the chances of it look slim it’s not that he is not good enough it’s because they wouldn’t wanna change too much.
For RCB the red hot form of Devdutt Padikkal gives them a boost that they need if they want to continue to be in top 4 of the table. With Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers firing they wouldn’t worry too much about their batting after one misfire. Ahmedabad has a variety of pitches to offer the first one was a bit slow and tacky, let’s see what the other ones have to offer.
DC’s probable XI: Shikhar Dhawan,Prithvi Shaw,Steve Smith,Rishabh Pant,Simron Hetmyr,Marcus Stoinis,Lalit Yadav,Axar Patel,Amit Mishra,Kagiso Rabada,Avesh Khan
RCB’s probable XI: Virat Kohli,Devdutt Padikkal,Rajat Patidar,Glen Maxwell,AB de Villiers,Washington Sundar,Dan Christian,Kyle Jamieson,Harshal patel,Mohammad Siraj,Yuzvendra Chahal
