Indian Premier League’s remaining matches of the 2021 season will be played in UAE. Earlier there were rumours that BCCI is looking to shift the IPL in England but whatever may be the reason the IPL is going back to UAE for the remaining 31 matches. Conducting IPL in UAE will be a big task financially because of the fact that a part of the season is moving and the arrangements made on such little time can prove costly so let’s hope that the remaining of the season proves to be a success. Most probably the starting date will be 19 september. The availability of the international cricketers will be a key because there are a few series scheduled in that time window. But there is a chance that the cricket boards may take that this tournament is taking place just ahead of T20 Worldcup so there might be an outside chance that boards allow their players to go play in IPL to get in some sort of t20 rhythm before the world cup.
