NETHERLANDS VS IRELAND : SERIES REVIEW

Recently a oneday series between Netherlands and Ireland concluded which Netherland was hosting. Netherlands won the series by 2-1 even after loosing the first match. It was a tough series for batsmen as the pitch was on a slower side and the bowlers enjoyed bowling on this wicket. In the first game Netherlands lost the match by one run and these type of losses can hurt you big time but they didn’t let the loss derail them off the path and in the next two matches they outplayed Ireland to win the series 2-1. This series win will give Netherlands 20 points on the table on World champions league. Ireland were poor in their batting and apart from Paul Stirling no one really contributed in the batting department and that was probably the cause of their loss. In the bowling department Joshua Little from Irish side and Van der Gugten and Van de leede form the dutch side were the highlight of this series. But the same can’t be said for any batsman from either side. Both the sides have a lot to improve on and they would want to take positives from this series and work on the negatives.
