Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians both the team are looking for some momentum going into the tournament. MI have two wins from four games and PBKS have one win in four games. Last game PBKS struggled to put up a good score on the board and so did Mumbai in their last game. But whereas PBKS struggled as a whole, MI struggled in their middle order. With Nicholas Pooran and Chris Gayle both struggling Punjab have found it hard to get going and specially when they changed the venue from fast paced Mumbai to slow paced Chepauk. As far as bowling is concerned in the last game they found a method but the need more runs from their batsmen.

Whereas where Mumbai stands they have their best possible XI taking the field in every game but their middle order has been a concern for them as they move from Chennai to Delhi after this game the conditions aren’t gonna change much so they would want to get going as early as possible. Their bowling has been the brightest part in their campaign so far as almost every bowler has done his job when required but it’s just that they have not enough runs on the board everytime. But they still wouldn’t wanna change much but PBKS should change their batting order a little bit as Shahrukh Khan has been performing well and knows the conditions too.

PBKS’s probable XI: KL Rahul,Mayank Agarwal,Chris Gayle,Deepak Hooda,Nicholas Pooran,Shahrukh Khan,Moises Henriques,Fabien Allen,Murugan Ashwin, Mohammad Shami,Arshdeep Singh

MI’s probable XI: Rohit Sharma,Chris Lynn,Surya Kumar Yadav,Ishan Kishan,Hardik Pandya,Kieron Pollard,Krunal Pandya,Jayant Yadav,Rahul Chahar,Jasprit Bumrah,Trent Boult
