Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians lost their first match against Chennai Super Kings in a high scoring game but they won their second match against Kolkata Knight Riders as skipper himself took the responsibility to score the runs and the bowlers also delivered. MI is the one of the most balanced teams of this ipl as they have enough backup in every department and the players themselves are quality players. They have firepower from the start in their batting lineup.
While Royal Challengers Bangalore have been a little bit rusty as their skipper Virat Kohli haven’t performed yet as he would want to. They too have a pretty strong looking batting lineup starting from Aron Finch and AB De villiers in the middle order. If their batsman start to contribute more then probably they can compensate a bit in their not performing bowling. As of bowling they do have concerns in bowling lineup apart from Navdeep Saini and Yuzvendra Chahal all their bowlers have been under par. Chris Morris’s injury also not helping to the cause.
On paper and based on performance Mumbai Indians have a better chance against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Still this promises to be a heck of a game.
